Graduate House offers advertising opportunities in-house, within publications that have a worldwide readership, on our website and through our social media channels. Terms and Conditions may apply. In-house
Extending from 210 to 238 Leicester Street in the Graduate Precinct of The University of Melbourne, Graduate House consists of three main areas:
- the William Berry Wing, a row of heritage terraces with the Johnston Library and Anderson Lounge, and home to fifty graduate resident members;
- the Main Building with the Phillip Law Members’ Lounge, our quality Dining Area, two meeting and function rooms and three floors of accommodation for a further fifty resident members; and
- the Stella Langford Wing with three meeting and function rooms and a secure four storey car park, as well as ten Self-Contained Apartments.
Shown below are in-house advertising opportunities to present your product or service to the 600 residents and 25,000 meeting and function patrons we receive each year. The people who live, learn and meet here are from all disciplines, all stages of life and all over Melbourne, Australia and the world.
Pin Boards
We have many pin boards displayed throughout our college to guarantee maximum exposure. Posted on each pin board for a month, your flyer will be viewed by residents and all visitors every day. For an additional cost, Graduate House will print the digital version of your flyer.

Dining Area Display Packages
The Dining Area Display Package allows for several advertisements in the Phillip Law Members’ Lounge, and the Bar and Dining Area.
Information about your product or service will be placed on our menus (including those updated daily on our website), our wine lists and a digital display located on the bar. Many people use our spaces everyday which will ensure maximum exposure for your material.

Publications
Graduate House has a large number of publications which range from posters and flyers to multi-page newsletters and periodicals. All are written, structured and designed in-house by our publications team.
Our monthly newsletter has a wide reach, and a diverse and influential demographic. It is made available in-house, and is sent by post and email to thousands of Members who are based locally and internationally.
We find our large readership to be educated and articulate, discerning and particularly appreciative of fine products and professional services, as well as being kind, inclusive and generous.
GU Collegiate Event Marketing
GU Collegiate Event Marketing is our largest and most comprehensive advertisement package. Each year, Graduate House holds a series of Twilight Lectures, Sunday Music Concerts, Resident Meet and Greets, and Monthly Luncheons. This package gives you the opportunity to advertise alongside our promotions of these regular GU Collegiate events.
Your business will be advertised on our in-house and out-going promotional material including on A3 posters, A4 handouts, A5 flyers, the event program and our website, through email distributions to more then 2,000 of our Members and other negotiated methods. Sponsorship of one GU Collegiate event or of a GU Collegiate series may be negotiated.

Newsletters
Our newsletters are received by all Members each month, uploaded to our website and made available in our entrance foyers. Each newsletter is printed in-house and includes details about upcoming GU Collegiate events, university sector news, free lectures, reviews of past events, acknowledgment of patronage (of the university, government, not-for-profit, and professional development groups that meet here). We can also create negotiated content.
Your advertisement will be one of three sizes:
- whole page [A4];
- half page [A5 in size]; or
- quarter page [A6 in size].
The Graduate Union determines the page and positioning of your advertisement in the newsletter.
Sponsorship of the newsletter may be negotiated.

Calendar
The Graduate House Calendar is an annual publication posted to our members worldwide. The calendar is always well received, is a popular as a gift, and is replicated in digital form online. Your advertisement will be shown on one or more pages, or as a voucher for a free/discounted product or service on the Graduate House voucher page. Sponsorship of the calendar may be negotiated.
