International Book Giving Day

The aim of International Book Giving Day is to get books into the hands of as many children as possible and to increase children’s regular access to and enthusiasm for books. Donate your books to a charity or drop them off at Graduate House and we will ensure that they get to an appropriately placed charity. We suggest also that you connect with others volunteering on the global initiative in over 44 countries, including Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, China, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Egypt, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Israel, Japan, Jordan, Macedonia, Malaysia, Malawi, Mexico, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Nigeria, the Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Serbia, Singapore, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Turkey, Ukraine, the United Kingdom and the United States. Share the love of books and take action to help children in need in your community by reading, sharing and passing on a book.
