The Graduate Union has seen a lot of changes in Carlton and Melbourne. By comparing the 1901 and 2016 photos it becomes clear as to how much the city has transformed.
Graduate House’s location is ideal in that it is central to Melbourne’s academic precinct, and situated between two of Melbourne’s prominent universities, The University of Melbourne and Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT).
This location is also in proximity to the future Parkville station, which may later provide a link to the proposed Melbourne Airport rail, thus connecting Graduates to the world with ease.
