Graduate House – the venue for your meeting, function or event – is a university-level residential college.

We are OPEN and SAFE and have much experience in offering a true home during these uncertain times.

Unlike other residential colleges, we offer variable term residencies. This means that you can stay overnight, up to a week or longer*.

For those coming to Graduate House for professional development, seminars, meetings and other events, Graduate House is thus the ideal place to stay either side of the event. Take advantage of your visit to Melbourne by staying one (or a few) night(s) before the event and then one (or a few) night(s) after. Yes, you can make it a long weekend!

Graduate House is in a sophisticated and historical area of Melbourne. We are next door to two major universities (The University of Melbourne and RMIT University), to Melbourne’s Central Business District (CBD) and to a vibrant Carlton social and restaurant scene on the world famous Lygon Street.

Graduate House is also an ideal accommodation option for:

• summer and winter schools
• clinical placements, particularly those at walking distance: Royal Melbourne Hospital, St Vincent’s Hospital, Royal Women’s Hospital, Royal Children’s Hospital and the Comprehensive Cancer Centre
• visiting researchers and lecturers
• short work sojourns in the city

Accommodation rates are less for Members of our Association than for non-members. You are eligible to become a member of our unique association if you are a graduate of any university worldwide. Joining gives access to our facilities at reduced rates, as well as membership of an increasingly influential international collegium.
